Spectra 5 is an environmentally responsible carpet cleaner that earned Green Seal certification for meeting the GS-37 standard for Cleaning Products for Industrial and Institutional Use and the Carpet & Rug Institute’s seal of approval for superior performing carpet cleaning products. It is a high-efficiency, deep cleaning, encapsulating carpet cleaner for use in carpet extraction, shampooing, and bonnet cleaning. It may be used in all extraction equipment and on all types of carpet. Spectra 5 is highly effective on oily types of soil as well as most other common soils and stains. It also enhances soil resistance and allows the carpet to stay cleaner longer. This unique blend of detergents is safe on stain-resistant carpets because of its low alkalinity and it is easy to work with because it already contains defoamer and odor counteractant. Spectra 5 is readily biodegradable and is free of phosphates, strong alkalis, and solvents. This product is recommended to be used with cold water from the tap.
